We have Kalaripayatt. Kalaripayatt is one of the oldest martial arts in the world, originating in Kerala, India. The word "Kalari" refers to the training hall where the art is practiced, and "payattu" means practice or exercise in Malayalam, the language of Kerala.

Kalaripayatt is not just as a martial art but also as a form of cultural heritage and physical fitness. Once banned by the British due to the fear of revolution communities have worked hard to ensure the survival of this practice.
